Paducah Parks Services Department invites everyone to Paducah’s riverfront this Thursday, August 6 for the sixth concert in the seven-concert RIVERfront Concert Series.

Be entertained and enjoy sounds, sunset, and summertime with local band Adam & The H-Bombs on stage from 6:00 until 7:00 pm and then Tee Dee Young Blues Band from 7:00 until 8:30 pm.

The free concerts began in May and are held on select Thursdays through mid-August on Wilson Stage on the riverfront.  The concerts are partnerships of local and nationwide artists with local artists taking the stage for the first hour and nationally-known up-and-coming artists entertaining the crowds from 7:00 until 8:30 pm.

Special Events Coordinator Molly Tomasallo says, “If you are looking for a little classic rock and a whole lot of blues, than look no further than this Thursday night on the Paducah riverfront stage from 6:00 until 8:30 pm. Tee Dee Young and Adam & The H Bombs bring you more great music for the month of August. Summer is definitely winding down so don’t miss it.  Our last concert for the season is August 20.”

Adam & The H-Bombs, a Paducah based trio, will take the stage from 6:00 until 7:00 pm.

The group features Adam Horbovetz on guitar and vocals, Keith Culp on bass and vocals, and Erik Eicholtz on drums. Come down to the riverfront as they serve up classic rock, jazz, and blues ranging from the 1950s to the present.  The group got their start in 2005 due to friendship and a love of music.  They took a break and reformed in 2008 and have been going strong ever since.  They also will be playing at the Hot August Blues Festival at Kenlake State Park on August 28. The members of this talented group also share their love of music with other groups. Eicholtz plays with Lew Jetton and 61 South, and you may have seen Culp playing with the Cruisers.  For more information about Adam & The H-Bombs, visit their Facebook page.

From 7:00 until 8:30 pm enjoy the Tee Dee Young Blues Band.

A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Tee Dee Young is a blues legend in his own time.  While playing his unique style of the blues, his dynamic stage presence, exciting harmony and energy will put you in the mood for dancing.  Young got his start playing the guitar sitting by the railroad tracks.  At the age of thirteen he learned the basics mentored by the late Harrison Coleman. He picked up singing from his late father, gospel singer Leonard Young.  At the age of fourteen, he formed his own band and continues to perform every chance he gets while gathering awards along the way.  He won Best Blues Artist at the Lexington Music Festival in February. He will be embarking on his second European tour next year.  For more information, visit www.teedeeyoung.com.

The final 2015 RIVERfront Concert Series will be August 20.  On that date, be entertained by the music of local band, Solid Rock’it Boosters, from 6 until 7 pm and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades from 7:00 until 8:30 pm.
