Have you been tasked with writing grants for your organization, but don’t know where to start? Have you written grants before but were not successful?
An introduction to grant writing and community revitalization workshop is being offered free in Paducah on September 27th.
The one-day workshop which will provide participants with a solid understanding of grant writing and tips and tricks that will help make proposals more attractive to those who provide funds. This workshop will highlight community development and environmental grants. However, the information covered will be applicable to many other types of grants from federal government and foundation funding groups.
The last portion of the workshop will highlight the upcoming U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfield Grants that can help communities redevelop properties with environmental issues.
The class will be held in the City Hall Training Room, 300 South 5th St. from 9 am-3:30 pm. Registration begins at 8:30 this morning. To register, go to dca.ticketleap.com.
