GED Graduation Set for August 16 at WKCTC

PADUCAH, KY - The West Kentucky Community and Technical College GED graduation ceremony will be held on August 16, 6:00 pm in the Clemens Fine Arts Center.

Since July 1, 2010 to present date morethan 500 students have earned their GED through the West Kentucky Adult Education program on the campus of WKCTC. Since the adult education program was relocated to WKCTC in 2003, it has helped more 1,000 students earn their GED.

“West Kentucky’s Adult Education program also opens the door for students to continue their education, said Betty Myrick, director of the West Kentucky Adult Education program. “The number of students going on to college after getting their GED is growing each year and we are proud to be a part of that process.”
