Gander Outdoors in Paducah Announces Closure

A local sporting goods store has closed its doors for good.

In a sign posted outside Gander Outdoors in Paducah, the company made the following announcement:

"It is with great regret that we announce the closing of Gander Outdoors of Paducah, KY. We have enjoyed serving our customers in the community and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the store.

Gander Outdoors opened in February at the former Gander Mountain location near Kentucky Oaks Mall following a bankruptcy and restructuring.
