By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH - A contractor plans brief traffic interruptions for northbound traffic on US 45/Lone Oak Road near the KY 1310/Berger Road intersection in Paducah on Tuesday night.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a crew will be pouring concrete tuesday for a driveway entrance along the Northbound lanes of US 45/Lone Oak Road near the bottom of Trimble Hill from around 6 p.m. and about 8 p.m.

This is between Highland Boulevard and KY 1310/Berger Road.  Northbound traffic will be stopped from time to time to allow concrete trucks to make deliveries to the work area.

Drivers as asked to be patient in this work zone. This is repair work at a drive entrance where gas lines were recently relocated.

Traffic will also be restricted along US 60/Jackson Street in Paducah at night between 21st Street and US 45/Joe Clifton Drive. This night work zone is to allow gas lines to be moved from under the roadway to the utility strip area along the curb line.

Some closures may be possible along US 60/Jackson Street in this area to facilitate the work.  This work zone is expected to be active for several weeks.
