PADUCAH, KY - Power2Give Agrees to Match Donations to Kidz Day In the Arts
The highly respected philanthropic organization Power2Give has offered to match 50% of donations toward The National Quilt Museum Annual "Kidz Day In the Arts" event on August 25.
Kidz Day In the Arts is an annual Museum event that offers youth in the Western Kentucky area the opportunity to experience a variety of arts related activities for FREE. The Museum and its local partners offer a wide variety of hands-on activities for elementary school aged children. Area performance artists provide unique performances including storytelling, sing alongs and balloon art. In addition, everyone gets into the Museum's galleries to experience the exhibits for FREE.
This is a significant community event that is attended by 600-1000 people every year. As many art programs in this area have been cut, for many of these children, this is their only exposure to this form of artistic culture all year.
Power2Give will match 50% of all donations up to $3360.00 between today and August 22. You can donate to this effort by clicking the link below, and you will see a website for Power2Give with The National Quilt Museum logo and the title "Help Keep Kidz Day In the Arts." Click on the green button that says "Give Now" to donate.
