Harrod Tells Fiddling History at Library Thursday

PADUCAH, KY - Explore Kentucky's diverse fiddling traditions on Thursday, March 21 at the McCracken County Public Library.

Acclaimed musician and fiddle scholar John Harrod will be the speaker for "Evenings Upstairs" at the Library. Hear John tell the stories of old fiddlers, their personalities, eccentricities and exploits, while he tells of his own adventures documenting the generation of performers who learned their music before radio and phonograph records.

The free presentation is at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 21 in the second floor meeting room at the library.
