A head-on collision between two pickups sent two people to a local hospital Friday.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 3:55 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the intersection of North Friendship Road and Seneca Lane for a two-vehicle accident with one vehicle in the ditch.

Derrick Kearney and passenger Sarah Brokaw, both of Paducah, were northbound on North Friendship when Kearney lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center line and collided with Robert Snow of Paducah.  Due to the force of the collision, Snow’s pickup went into the ditch. He was freed by emergency personnel on scene.

Snow and Brokaw were transported to Western Baptist Hospital for apparent non-life threatening  injuries.
