The concession stand at Cinemark Theatre at Kentucky Oaks Mall has reopened after it was forced to close due to an infestation of roaches.

According to Joel Barrett with the Purchase District Health Department, an inspection on Wednesday morning found no live roaches.

Barrett said he intends to do follow-up inspections every week or two, depending on his other appointments and workload.

The theatre was forced to close Monday and didn't open until Tuesday afternoon. A sign on the door Tuesday morning said "emergency repairs," were being done. While the theatre could show movies, the concession stand could not reopen until Wednesday's follow-up inspection.
