Husband Road Crash Injures Two

PADUCAH, KY - Two people were hurt Thursday morning in a crash on Husband Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded shortly after 9 a.m. to a two vehicle crash on Husband Road at the intersection of the I-24 onramp at exit 11. Deputies said 21-year-old Hannah Scott of Benton was attempting to make a left turn from Husband Road onto the eastbound entrance ramp of I-24. Witnesses told deputies Scott turned into the path of a northbound vehicle, driven by 61-year-old David Slaughter of Paducah.

Scott and Slaughter were taken to area hospitals for treatment. A passenger in Slaughters vehicle, 26-year-old Russell Turnbow of Paducah was not injured.
