Three people were injured Tuesday morning in a crash on Husband Road involving an ambulance.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says 47-year-old Heather Thompson of Grand Rivers was turning left at the 1000 block of Husband Road from a private driveway shortly before noon, and drove into the path of a northbound vehicle being driven by 30-year-old Tabetha Thompson of Paducah. Tabetha Thompson's vehicle then went into a skid, colliding head-on with an oncoming Mercy Regional Ambulance.

Tabetha Thompson and two Mercy Regional Ambulance personnel were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Heather Thompson was not injured.

Husband Road was closed for about 45 minutes after the crash.
