UPDATE (4:44 PM): Officials are reporting that the road has been reopened.

Officials have closed westbound lanes of I-24 at exit 3 in Paducah due to a rollover crash.

Reports indicate that there are minor injuries, and that one of the vehicles involved was a McCracken County Animal Control vehicle. There have been reports of a cow on the roadway, but officials say the cow did not directly cause the crash.

There is no estimate of how long the closure will last, and drivers are being advised to detour via the US 45 "Brookport" Bridge.
