Illinois Men Arrested on Drug Charges

Two Simpson, Illinois men have been arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Paducah at 3:30 Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, drug detectives conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Jackson Street after observing several traffic violations.  
 
Contact was made with the driver, 38-year-old Robert Peterman, 38, and a passenger, 52-year-old Jerry Bradley. Detectives smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, could see illegal drugs in plain-view, and observed both Peterman and Bradley attempting to hide illegal drugs.
 
A search of the vehicle, Peterman, and Bradley allegedly revealed marijuana, methamphetamine, and assorted items of drug paraphernalia.

Both Peterman and Bradley were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail, charged with numerous drug offenses.
