James Sanders Boulevard Closure Starts Today

A contractor plans to close James Sanders Boulevard on the north leg of the intersection with U.S. 60 starting today.

The closure will begin at 6:30 a.m. and continue for about a week.

The closure is near Michelson’s Jewelers, the Verizon Store, Starbuck’s, Jimmy John’s, and Five Guys. Drivers can use the Olivet Church Road end of James Sanders Boulevard and side streets to access the affected businesses.

The closure is part of ongoing construction of the Double Crossover Diamond Interchange along US 60.
