PADUCAH, KY - Sheriff's deputies are investigating an Independence Day theft on Lakeview drive in McCracken County. Surveillance video shows two male suspects attempting to gain entry into a resident's vehicle, and driving around a number of golf carts, just as reports came in of a stolen purse and golf cart. 

The golf cart was later recovered, but was damaged. 

Deputies believe the thefts ocured between 3-4:30 am on July 4th.
