A Kentucky State Police Trooper from Paducah has been recognized for his work enforcing the commonwealth's DUI laws.



The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety held its annual Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards ceremony in Lexington on Tuesday. The event honored 193 officers from 169 law enforcement agencies from across the Commonwealth. KSP Post 1 Trooper Eric Fields of Lyon County was recognized for making 57 impaired driving arrests from October 1st, 2013 through September 30th, 2014.



Trooper Fields, a Paducah native, has been with KSP since 2007.
