The quilt was chosen from quilts submitted for judging in various categories from 15 countries and 40+ states.
This year's show and contest features hundreds of quilts, diverse special exhibits, merchant malls, workshops and lectures with world-class instructors, plus special quilt and food events throughout the city.
The main AQS Show and vendor booths are located inside the Schroeder Expo, Convention Center, dome pavilion and former Finkel building at corner of 2nd and Kentucky Avenue in downtown Paducah. Buses, vans and trollies transport visitors and locals from one venue to the other at no cost to the quests. Additional quilt exhibits and quilt-related events are taking place throughout the city. Show times are Wednesday, April 24 thru Friday, April 26 from 9 am thru 6 pm and Saturday, 9 am thru 4 pm. Daily, 2-day and multi-day passes are available in advance or at the door. One free Show Book is included with each paid admission.

As Paducah more than doubles its population this week, homes, hotels and Bed & Breakfasts in and surrounding the city will be loaded with quilt enthusiasts who look forward to spending spring in Quilt City USA. They travel from across the world to be part of this annual quilting extravaganza.
