Kentucky Ave Lane Closure Starts Thursday

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans lane restrictions for corrective work along Kentucky Avenue in Paducah starting Thursday.

Westbound Kentucky Avenue traffic will be restricted to one lane near the 12th Street intersection and Paducah Tire to allow some of the concrete
driving surface to be replaced.

The Kentucky Avenue work zone runs from Otis Dinning Drive extending to Walter Jetton Boulevard.

A westbound lane restriction is expected to be up in this area for about two weeks, weather permitting.

The contractor will also be doing some joint sealing along the project with the use of intermittent lane restrictions.
