Lane Restriction Shifts on Clarks River Bridge

A lane restriction on the US 60 Clarks River Bridge is being shifted to the opposite lanes of traffic.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to alter the work zone starting Thursday. Eastbound traffic had been restricted for painting work on the bridge, but the work zone is moving to the westbound side of the road.

The contractor will work through Friday, and will take down the restriction for the Memorial Day weekend. The contractor then plans to return to resume the westbound work zone lane restriction on Wednesday, May 30.

Drivers should watch for signs and messages indicating the restriction as they approach the area. Appropriate caution is required.
