Lane Sensor Work at US62/Friendship Rd. This Week
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - A Kentucky Transportation Cabinet signal crew plans to finish installation of sensors for the new traffic signal and turn lanes recently constructed along North Friendship Road at the intersection with US 62/Blandville Road in McCracken County sometime this week.

This installation work was originaly scheduled for last week, but was postponed.

When work begins, it will require a work zone with multiple lane restrictions at the intersections. Due to the high level of work at this site, the intersection will function as a 4-Way Stop much of the day with flaggers controlling traffic flow. Delays could occur at the intersection, especially during peak travel periods.

Motorists can expect to encounter varying lane restrictions in this work zone as the crew goes about their work. Extra caution is required due to personnel working on the roadway in the intersection.
