'Live On Broadway' Features Jazz Group Tonight

PADUCAH, KY - "Live on Broadway", sponsored by Paducah Renaissance Alliance, has another fun-filled line up of entertainment for tonight's enjoyment in downtown Paducah.

The weekly summetime event will showcase musical entertainment along Broadway with featured performances on the stage at 2nd and Broadway, near the gazebo. All musical acts begin at 7 pm and run until 10 pm.

Headlining the event will be The Cates-Jackson Group, a traditional vocal jazz group. The group consists of music teachers that enjoy sharing traditional vocal and instrumental jazz music. 

Additional acts along Broadway include Lydia Walker, the Trio, Kentucky Gentlemen, Antioch and the Paducah Quick Step Cloggers. A special feature this week is Steel Dove, performing on Wilson Stage overlooking the river.

Kids’ activities include inflatables and train rides. Jason Lindsey of “Hooked on Science” will have exciting watermelon-based experiments for kids of all ages this week.

Street closings begin at 6:00 pm on Broadway between Water St. and 5th Street, and 2nd Street between Jefferson and Kentucky Ave.
