PADUCAH, KY - Lone Oak High School's Junior Varsity Volleyball team won the championship of the Junior Varsity division of the 2012 Bluegrass State Games held in Lexington, KY from Friday, July 27 to Sunday, July 29. 
 
There were 36 JV volleyball teams from around KY in the tournament.  
 
Lone Oak defeated Henry Clay High School from Lexington, KY in the semi-final in three hard fought sets.

Lone Oak also defeated Woodford County High School from Versailles, KY in the championship game, losing the first set but coming back to win the final two sets to become the tournament champions.
