PADUCAH, KY - A Tennessee man was arrested in Lone Oak Saturday morning after a traffic stop.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies stopped a vehicle on Lone Oak Road for a traffic violation about 4:15 am. Deputies say the driver could not provide a drivers' license, but he was identified as 50-year-old J. Salud Mandujano-Cruz of Jackson, Tennessee.
Deputies say a strong odor of alcohol was coming from the vehicle, so a field sobriety test was conducted, which Mandujano-Cruz allegedly failed. A bag of white powder which field-tested positive for cocaine was also reportedly found in the vehicle.
Mandujano-Cruz was arrested for DUI, reckless driving, having an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance, 1st offense. He was taken to McCracken County Jail.
