Lourdes Adds Surgeon to Staff

Mercy Medical Associates, Lourdes’ physician practice, says they have hired Rebecca Gill, MD to the medical staff. 

Lourdes says Dr. Gill graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. She completed her residency in general surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo.

“I came to Lourdes for one main reason: family,” says Dr. Rebecca Gill. “I recently was blessed with a second son. We have family in southern Illinois and Chicago. After I met the Lourdes team, I felt as if Paducah was home. I am excited to join my new "Lourdes family" of physicians, co-workers and patients and look forward to knowing everyone better.”

Gill comes to Lourdes as a general surgeon from Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot, Idaho.
