Lourdes Associate Wins Patriot Award

Lourdes congratulates Laura Sumnlers, RN, Renal Vascular Services manager.  Laura won the Patriot Award, a first in the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) series of awards.  This is not an employer-wide award, but one that recognizes supervisors and bosses nominated by a Guardsman or Reservist employee for support provided directly to the nominator.  

The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support Citizen Warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families and granting leaves of absences if needed.

Laura accepted her award aboard the USS Chippewa on Wednesday, October 24 at the Riverfront in downtown Paducah.
