A Missouri man was arrested Friday night after a pursuit that covered two counties.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies were notified and began looking for a vehicle that fled the scene of a traffic stop by Paducah Police. Deputies spotted the vehicle heading towards I-24 on John Puryear Drive, and the driver was "all over the roadway," indicating that he might be intoxicated.

When deputies activated lights and sirens, the driver did not stop, and drove east on I-24 at a high rate of speed. The Calvert City Police Department deployed stop sticks near mile marker 24 to deflate both passenger tires, and the vehicle stopped about a mile down the highway.

The driver, James Kenneth Depung of Salibury, Missouri, was arrested without incident.

McCracken County Deputies charged Depung with fleeing or evading police 1st degree and wanton endangerment of a police officer 1st degree.

Deputies say he will also be facing charges from Marshall County and the city of Paducah.
