Man Dies after Thursday Collision in Paducah

PADUCAH, KY - A Bardwell man has died following a two-car collision Thursday evening on Alben Barkley Drive in Paducah.

Witnesses say that shortly after 6 pm, 75-year-old Chester H. Gray pulled his car from the Five Star convenience store parking lot into the path of a west-bound car, driven by 20-year-old Karina M. May of Paducah. May was unable to stop before hitting Gray's car broadside in the driver's side.

May was taken to Baptist Health for treatment, while Gray was taken to Lourdes Hospital, where he died several hours later.
