One person was hurt when two motorcycles collided Monday night in McCracken County.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened at around 6:20 pm in the 2600 block of John Puryear Drive.

Deputies said 57-year-old Frederick Bahr, of Ipswich, SD was traveling north on John Puryear Drive on his motorcycle and was directly behind his wife, 58-year-old Tamara Bahr, also of Ipswich, SD, who was operating her motorcycle.

Police said Mrs. Bahr began a turn into a local business and Mr. Bahr didn't see her slowing for the turn. Mr. Bahr collided with the rear of his wife's motorcycle. The force of the collision caused Mr. Bahr to lose control of his motorcycle and exit the roadway, ejecting him from the motorcycle.

Mr. Bahr suffered what appeared to be non life threatening injures and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Mrs. Bahr was able to stop her motorcycle just off the roadway. She was not injured in the crash.
