Man In Custody After Apparent Armed Standoff

A man is in police custody after an apparent armed standoff in the Lone Oak area.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says a man, who has been taken into custody, had barricaded himself Monday morning in a home on Brunswick Circle. The road was closed  between College Avenue and Hillington Drive during the incident. It's unclear at this time if it has been reopened. 

Drivers were being advised to avoid the area, and residents to remain inside their homes.
