PADUCAH - A Paducah man was sentenced on sexual abuse and terroristic threatening charges.

McCracken County Circuit Court records show 34-year-old Thomas Sullivan was sentenced Friday morning to 25 years in prison.

Sullivan was arrested in March and charged with sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl. McCracken County Sheriff's deputies said Sullivan videotaped a sex act and sent it to someone else.

When Sullivan was arrested, he reportedly threatened to kill several sheriff’s detectives upon his release.

Sullivan faced a charge of sexual abuse 1st degree of a victim under 12 years old, sodomy 1st degree with a victim under 12 years old, use of electronic device to procure a minor for a sex act, and seven counts of 3rd degree terroristic threatening.
