By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH - Paducah police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing items from the Holiday Inn Riverfront in downtown Paducah.

The hotel manager called police on Sept. 14 to report computer equipment had been stolen. He told officers the desk clerk had let a man into the lobby just after midnight because the man said his key was not working. The clerk said the man sat down at the lobby computer and was there when she responded to a request from another guest.

Security camera video shows the man unplugged and took the computer, monitor, mouse and keyboard, then left out the rear door of the hotel.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity or the theft is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550.
