Man Wanted for Attempted Murder Found in Paducah

PADUCAH, KY - A man wanted in connection with the shooting Monday of two people in Jackson, TN, was arrested late Friday afternoon at a home in McCracken County.
According to police, 24-year-old Clinton Berry was arrested just after 4 p.m. Friday by U.S. Marshals.
According to information provided by Lt. Tyreece Miller, commander of the Jackson, TN, Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit, officers were called at 2:45 p.m. Monday to a report of a shooting in the Lincoln Courts apartment complex in Jackson.
A 17-year-old youth was injured when a bullet grazed his head, and a 37-year-old woman was shot in the leg. Both were treated at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and released, Miller said.
Jackson investigators identified Berry as a suspect, and Paducah police detectives located him Friday at the home of an acquaintance in McCracken County. Paducah police, U.S. Marshals and ATF agents went to the house, and Berry was taken into custody.
Berry was booked into McCracken County Regional Jail, awaiting extradition to Tennessee.
