Man, Woman Injured in Accident on Husbands Rd.

PADUCAH, KY - A Tenessee man and woman were injured in a single-car accident Tuesday night.
Police said 24 year old James Dickens, of Lebanon, TN was driving on Husbands Road at about 11:20 pm and left the roadway, striking a utility pole and coming to rest in an embankment.
Investigation showed that Dickens was reaching for a drink in his console and left the roadway due to the distraction and not being under proper control of his car.
Dickens along with passenger 24 year old Cheryl Tims of Brownsville, TN were transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Reidland Fire Department, Sullivan’s Towing and Mercy EMS all assisted at the scene.
