'Mardi Gras and All That Jazz' March 4 Fat Tuesday
By WestKentuckyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - A local Fat Tuesday tradition continues March 4 at the Lourdes Foundation’s 12th Annual Mardi Gras & All That Jazz.

Mardi Gras is a fun-filled evening of music, food and fun to support the Lourdes Foundation, which raised $75,000 in 2013. Proceeds from this year's event, like the ones before, will help Lourdes improve clinical areas and provide excellence in care through technology and facility upgrades.

This fundraiser will be held at Harrah’s Riverfront Event Center in Metropolis from 6:00-9:00 pm. Lew Jetton & 61 South are back by popular demand and will liven up the party with their Blues and Southern Rock.

Guests can satisfy their Cajun cravings with gourmet treats from popular restaurants and caterers throughout the region, and sample delicious drinks including wines, spirits, soft drinks and gourmet coffees.

Food and beverage vendors include: A Pampered Palate, Alto Vineyards, Artisan Kitchen, Eat-O Burrito, Lourdes Starbucks, Midtown Market, Neil’s Catering, Ozark Pride Meats, Patti’s 1880’s Settlement, Pepsi Mid-America, Rafferty’s, Roof Brothers Wine & Spirits, Shandies, Shawnee Winery, The Pasta House Company, The Range Steakhouse, and WKCTC Culinary Arts.

An auction of artist Bill Ford’s original Mardi Gras artwork will take place at 7:30 pm.

Tickets for Mardi Gras are $50 each or $800 for reserved tables of ten. Corporate sponsorships are available for $2,000 or $1,000, with the added benefit of reserved seating and special gifts. To arrange a sponsorship or purchase tickets, call Lourdes Foundation at 270-444-2205 or visit
