Marijuana Plants Found in Vegetable Garden

PADUCAH, KY - The Paducah Police Department arrested two people Wednesday on charges of cultivating marijuana in their back yard.

According to police, Officer Beau Green conducted an investigation after receiving information that marijuana was growing in the back yard of  43-year-old David B. Minnis and 37-year-old Tiffany A. Minnis of Paducah.

Officers discovered that five marijuana plants were growing in a vegetable garden in the backyard of the residence.

David B. Minnis was charged with cultivating marijuana (five plants or more) first offense and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

Tiffany A. Minnis was charged with complicity to cultivate marijuana (five plants or more), cited and released.
