PADUCAH, KY - A Gilbertsville woman was taken to a local hospital by ambulance Tuesday afternoon, following a one-vehicle accident on I-24 in McCracken County.

Sheriff's deputies report that 53-year-old Tiny Ryan was driving west on the interstate around 1:30 pm when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of her car, and it overturned on the roadway near mile marker 14.

Traffic was backed up to Exit 16 for approximately three hours while the scene was cleared.

An investigation is underway with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.
