Martha's Vineyard of Paducah has been busy preparing their annual Thanksgiving feast, and they need help serving on Thanksgiving Day.

Martha Bell said her organization will "take all the help we can get" today, as the food is served and delivered. Bell said, "We're gonna start a carry-out service at 10:30, and in-house feeding at 9:00. We will need delivery people and we will need people in-house, serving until 2 o'clock."

Meals will be prepared and served at 900 North 32nd Street in Paducah.

Over 150 turkeys are typically cooked and served each year, with all of the tasty side dishes and desserts, too.

Those considering volunteering their time to help should call 270-575-0021. Anyone who is homebound and wants a meal delivered should call 270-441-2339.

Those who can't volunteer may consider making a donation to offset the cost of the meal, and the building's utilities, which run extremely high this time of year. They accept donations all through the year as they serve those in need.
