The kennel manager at the McCracken County Humane Society shelter who recently testified against fellow employees for performing improper euthanasia has been fired.
Jeremiah Robertson worked with detectives to get undercover video and audio.
He testified against euthanasia specialist Beau Anderson, who pleaded guilty to nine counts of animal cruelty in September and is serving a 60-day sentence.
Robertson also testified against office manager DaLena Hall, who was convicted on 10 counts of euthanizing animals without a license in August. She is appealing and still works at the shelter.
McCracken County Humane Society Board President James Shumaker told The Paducah Sun Robertson was fired Friday because he was insubordinate.
Robertson said he thinks his termination was unfair. He said he has never had a disciplinary complaint against him.
