A two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in McCracken County left one person injured.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened at about 2:15pm at the intersection of US Highway 68 and Tyree Road. Deputies said 56-year-old Marvin Blaine of Paducah was traveling west on US 68 in a truck hauling a utility trailer. As he began to slow to make a turn onto Tyree Road, he was struck by a car driven by 29-year-old Joshua McClure of Paducah.

McClure tried to swerve to the right to avoid hitting Blaine, but Blaine had already begun making the turn. Deputies said McClure's car struck Blaine's truck in the right rear bumper between the truck and trailer.

McClure was transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Blaine was not injured in the crash.
