McCracken Crash Injures Two, Driver Cited for DUI

MCCRACKEN CO, KY - A Wickliffe man was cited for DUI after a Sunday evening crash on Mckendree Church Road in McCracken County.

At around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Harris Rd and Mckendree Church Rd.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, 34-year-old Justin Farver, of Wickliffe, drove up an embankment and overturned after making a right hand turn onto Mckendree Church Rd from Harris Rd.

Investigation showed Farver was under the influence of Alcohol at the time of the accident.  Both Farver and His passenger, 36-year-old James Stokes, also of Wickliffe were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Due to his injuries, Farver was cited for DUI and open container and released to the care of the hospital.
