The McCracken County Sheriff's Office responded to approximately twenty vehicle collisions on Tuesday, due to the icy road conditions.

Out of the twenty reported collisions, a few of those were more serious. While deputies were responding to a three car collision on North Friendship Road, a Kentucky Department of Transportation snow plow collided with a McCracken County Sheriff's SUV and one other vehicle.

A seven car collision was also reported on Clark's River Road near the bridge, which was caused by ice buildup on the surface.

Deputies also responded to a rollover on Highland Church Road near US 62. Numerous other vehicles ran off the roadway in the area due to the icy conditions.
