PADUCAH, KY - McCracken County Sheriff's deputies are once again searching for 49-year-old James Boggess of Paducah; this time after he failed to appear in court for a preliminary hearing.
Deputies had arrested Boggess earlier this month on meth-trafficking charges. At the time of his arrest, he was on parole for similar offenses. But less than 24 hours after being taken into custody, Boggess was released on a $5,000 cash bond.
Last Thursday, Boggess was scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing, But he didn't show up, so a $25,000 bench warrant was issued for him.
Boggess is 5' 11" tall, close to 200 lbs., and has brown/gray hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 270-443-TELL.
