The McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division arrested six individuals on various drug offenses and outstanding warrants as a result of investigations over the past eight days.

On Thursday, August 9th, detectives conducted undercover investigations that led to three Methamphetamine trafficking arrests. The first investigation revealed that 32-year-old Brandon Fitzgerald, of Wickliffe, would be delivering a quantity of methamphetamine to the parking lot of a business on Lone Oak Road. Detectives located Fitzgerald and placed him under arrest after a search of his vehicle allegedly revealed approximately 10 grams of crystal methamphetamine, cash and a loaded firearm.

Detectives received information that 41-year-old Jennifer Pittman, of Paducah, an employee at a local motel on Hinkleville Road in Paducah, was reportedly selling drugs from the motel. Detectives conducted surveillance and she was arrested on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine.

A deputy stopped a truck for a traffic infraction that had just left the motel that night. The driver was also believed to be involved in a drug transaction. Forty-three-year-old James Grubbs, of Arlington, was arrested for DUI and trafficking in methamphetamine after a search of his truck reportedly revealed about an ounce of crystal methamphetamine. Detectives say Grubbs had met Pittman at the motel, so he was arrested. Detectives executed a search warrant at his home on Oaks Road, where additional drugs were allegedly found.

On Thursday, August 16th, detectives received information alleging that 32-year-old Dan Tansil, of Paducah, was attempting to sell morphine pills. An undercover investigation revealed that he was traveling to a gas station on Old Mayfield Road to sell 50 doses of morphine. Detectives found Tansil and arrested him at the gas station after a search allegedly revealed 50 doses of morphine and cash.

Also on Thursday, August 16th, detectives say they learned that 32-year old Jeremiah Dawson and 40-year-old Dazzeler Thomas, both of Paducah, were attempting to sell methamphetamine. Both men were found on the parking lot of a motel located on Joe Clifton Drive, and were arrested for conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine. They were also arrested on outstanding warrants for probation violations.

All six people were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
