McCracken Man Arrested on Trafficking Charge

PADUCAH, KY - A Paducah man was arrested Wednesday after police received information that he was allegedly selling marijuana from his vehicle.
Officers pulled over 28-year-old Gregory L. Hixon as he was driving along Jefferson St. at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
During the traffic stop, a detective discovered two ounces of marijuana in Hixon's waistband. An additional 2.75 lbs. of marijuana was allegedly discovered in the trunk of his car. It has a street value of $2,800.
A search warrant was obtained for Hixon's home on Walter Jetton Blvd., and for another home on Trimble Street. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located at the residence on Trimble St., while the search of Hixon's home resulted in the discovery of $1,200 cash, which is believed to be proceeds from alleged drug trafficking.
Hixon was taken to the McCracken Regional Jail.
