McCracken Man Charged in January Hit and Run
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH, KY - A McCracken County man faces felony charges in connection to a hit and run crash last month.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says Don K. Graves was arrested Monday evening at his home and booked into the McCracken County Jail, after a McCracken County Grand Jury indicted him on charges of felony leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license, and being a persistent felony offender.
The charges stem from a crash during which deputies say Graves hit 35-year-old Jason Carnine of Paducah, who was riding a bicycle on Old Mayfield Road on the evening on Jan. 18. Carnine was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
