A McCracken County man has been arrested in a stolen vehicle case.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says that on March 28 a local car dealership reported a 2008 Saturn Vue valued at about $2400 was taken off of the lot.

Deputies said they found the stolen car the next day abandoned in the 3000 block of Estes Lane. The vehicle, which had some minor damage, was returned to the dealership.

Deputies arrested 29-year-old Mark Holmes of Paducah after obtaining surveillance video that showed him driving the stolen vehicle. Deputies found Holmes Saturday passed out in a car parked behind a church in the Farley area.  He was arrested without incident and charged with receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

Holmes is reportedly a suspect in several other incidents, and more charges and arrests are expected in the case.
