“When the tornado came through Mayfield May 10, the McCracken County Education Association and its classified staff local wanted to help their neighboring county,” said Kentucky Education Association associate Candice Edmonds, based in Paducah. “So, they created ‘Stuff the Bus’ and raised $500 in gift cards for meals and things of that nature.

Dillard’s donated approximately $6,000 in bedding, curtains, and dishes. All of our schools gathered up clothes, hygiene items, food, and everything else families might need. They filled that bus for sure!”
