McCracken Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrests

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY - A traffic stop Tuesday night resulted in drug charges against two Paducah residents.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 11:10 pm a traffic stop was conducted in the area of Husbands Road. Deputies obtained consent to search the vehicle.    

Deputies found methamphetamine, items of drug paraphernalia and several doses of hydrocodone pills that were not prescribed to the driver, 41-year-old Marcia Doublin of Paducah, or her passenger, 24-year-old Jordan Matlock of Paducah.

During questioning, Doublin confessed to possessing more methamphetamine and a pipe.

Doublin and Matlock were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail. Doublin was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, possession of meth, possession of opiates and possession of drug paraphernalia. Matlock was charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
