Mercy-Lourdes Hospital Hosts MLK Celebration Today

Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital is hosting its 28th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration this afternoon. 

The program is called, “Move Your Mountains and Ascend to the Mountaintop,” and will begin at 3:30 pm at the Borders Community Room, inside the Marshall Nemer Medical Office Building. 

The keynote speaker is Dr. Anton Reece, President of West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Samuel “Snacks” Hawkins will provide spoken word. 

Refreshments will be served. The program is free and open to the public.

Martin Luther King, Jr., was born on January 15, 1929 but the holiday is observed this year on Monday, January 21.
