A Reidland woman was arrested Thursday on theft charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says they were contacted Wednesday by a used car dealer around closing time because a woman had allegedly not returned a Dodge Durango from a test drive.

After looking for 27-year-old Victoria Turner and the vehicle through the night, a deputy spotted it Thursday morning on Kentucky Dam Road and found Turner inside an apartment.

While she was being arrested for theft over $500, deputies say they saw a television with an obscured serial number that had been reported stolen a few days before from an apartment on Benton Road. After interviewing Turner and finding three more items that had reported stolen, she was additionally charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000.

Deputies say Turner is a suspect in other recent criminal incidents and more charges are expected. She was taken to McCracken County Jail.
